Goa Residential Training and Retreat Centre:
Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre is located in the area of Mandrem, which is a small local community in the municipality of Pernem North Goa. The local community is centred around traditional farming land and fishing. The community maintains its local charm, peace and tranquility despite increased tourism in the past several years. Himalaya Yoga Valley is well known and established within the community, having been here for the past 10 years and the locals always have a warm welcome for our yoga trainees and Retreat guests. Mandrem beach village is approximately 10 minute walk from the Centre and boasts a beautiful long sandy beach on the Arabian sea. The gentle glow of the early sunrises and the evening sunsets on the Arabian Sea are memorable.
Our 200 Hour Teacher Training Course delivers a comprehensive, theoretical and practical hands-on training program. Trainees emerge from our TTC as confident teachers with a strong and solid teaching skill set ready to begin their career.
Our training blends traditional Eastern teachings by Indian Masters of Yoga, Philosophy and Ayurveda combined with teachings from highly experienced and dynamic Western teachers. This marriage of backgrounds gives our students the opportunity to learn in an authentic Yoga setting whilst gaining the skills required to impart these teachings practically and relevantly in a global yoga environment.
