Flo Fenton's Lower Back Pain-Prevention and Management with Yoga
Pine Rivers Yoga Weekend Workshop-1 Pinedale Road Cashmere With Flo Fenton
March 12th-13th 2016
10am-4pm Saturday, 9.30am-3.30pm Sunday, lunch provided
Lower back pain is one of the most common ailments worldwide.
Unfortunately, even with regular yoga practice, some students still
experience lower back pain regularly. How can we avoid straining the
lower back in our yoga practice, and how can we use yoga to manage
pre-existing injury or pain in the lower back?
Over this weekend, senior yoga teacher Flo Fenton will help us
to understand and explore some of the major causes of lower back
pain…and how it is often mis-managed. We will look at safe practice
principals and injury prevention in our regular practice, as well as
learning about the three phases of lower back injury…and what we can do
through yoga to manage, and recover from, each stage until full recovery
is reached.
This workshop is suitable for anyone who has ever experienced
lower back pain, and yoga teachers who would like to deepen their skills
in this important area.
