Teaching yoga can be fun and exciting; however, it can often take some time to "find your groove" as a new teacher. These empowering mentoring workshops offer an opportunity to hone your skills in the classroom in a supported environment so you can better guide your students both on and off the mat! 

The minimum requirement to attend this course is completion of a 200-hour teacher training course. The Mentoring Program will be facilitated by Nicole Goodwin, Murray Hatton, and Melanie McLaughlin.

Dates and topics covered: Sunday 27 February 12pm-3pm, Rozelle – Nicole Goodwin

Word Power – Using Language to Craft Linkages between Mind & Body. Learn how to use language that inspires and motivates students to move and feel.

12 March 12pm-3pm, Rozelle – Nicole Goodwin

Sequencing – Creating Pathways for Transformation and Change. Learn how to create effective, seamless, and purposeful asana sequences.

Sunday 27 March 12pm-3pm, Rozelle – Nicole Goodwin

Teaching Three Classes in One. Overcoming the challenges of teaching a variety of practitioner levels in the same yoga class.

Saturday 9 April 12pm-3pm, Surry Hills – Murray Hatton

Bringing Functional Anatomical Language into your Teaching. Share your knowledge of anatomy in a way that allows students to become fully embodied in their yoga practice, while keeping your class alive with personality and fun.

Sunday 17 April 12pm-3pm, Surry Hills – Murray Hatton

The final mentoring session will be guided by YOUR needs. Bring along your questions and anything you want to fine tune in a group setting

300-Hour Teacher Training

This program forms a module in our 300-hour Teacher Training; part of our commitment to providing ongoing training to new and experienced teachers. To qualify this module for the 300-hour course, you will need to participate in a minimum of four sessions, giving you 12 hours' credit. For more information, please contact us at
