The shoulder plays a central role in yoga practice, particularly in vinyasa yoga. We use it in every sun salute and connecting vinyasa, every down dog and arm balance and a whole lot more. It is, however, often misaligned and imbalanced which sets the scene for injury and dysfunction not only at the shoulder but also at the elbow and wrist.
This training will incorporate lectures, group work, and practices to integrate the information learned. It will provide teachers with continuing education hours required for ongoing certification with Yoga Alliance.
