A 4 week series to help you overcome life's challenges, focussed on making positive choices, increasing motivation, managing stress and navigating life's setbacks.
Each workshop will begin with an education session delivered by a clinical psychologist who will present information and practical strategies to assist you in managing specific areas of difficulty.
To compliment this we will focus on different breathing and meditation techniques as well as yoga poses suitable for all levels of experience and ability. These classes will be presented by two qualified and experienced yoga instructors to assist with optimal learning and support.
Week 1 - October 17th - Making positive choices
Life requires us to make choices every day, some days we are better at navigating wise decisions then others.
Our first workshop will focus on presenting techniques to empower you to make better decisions in line with your values.
Week 2 - October 24th - Increasing energy and motivation
Learn how to recognise when your mindset is preventing you from reaching your full potential. Discover techniques to nurture and care for yourself again. This workshop will also help you boost your self esteem and to reignite your passion for life.
Week 3 - October 31st - Managing Stress
Stress is an inevitable part of life, it can become problematic when we miss opportunities to balance our natural response to stress with relaxation and grounding techniques.
In this week's workshop we will focus on movements to release excess energy, and restorative practices to calm your mind, relax your body and feel a sense of peace
Week 4 - November 7th - Navigating life's setbacks
Learning how to embrace life's challenges is a skill that requires us to connect with ourselves in a way that is grounded and steady. Feelings of resilience grow from paying attention to and respecting yourself. This week's workshop will support you to reconnect with your innate worth and to provide you with a sense of freedom to live the life you want.
