October 21 - 26 Sunshine Coast Retreat
The Chakra Vinyasa Yoga training is a 6 day course is taught as a retreat at Chenrezig Institute on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Chakra vinyasa yoga is quite possibly the highest, most intimate and ultimately transformative form of yoga practice you can do. It is a truly beautiful method that incorporates so many different branches of yoga into one complete system. This is a deep inward form of yoga practice and is absolutely wonderful to explore whilst on retreat.
Far from a new age workshop, this training looks at the science of healing, the psychology of human development through the chakras and the profound understanding of human potential expressed through the teachings of kundalini yoga.
This course is designed as much for your own personal development as it is for you to teach others. The main aim is to understand both the science and mysticism of the chakras and to develop your own regular meditation and yoga practice for each chakra. There is a strong meditation, pranayama and kundalini yoga component that goes with this training as well as focussed self enquiry.
You will also explore numerous principles for how to sequence yoga classes and run workshops for each chakra.
Theory and key principles will be taught alongside many hours of practice and refinement. An extensive manual will also be provided that includes all of these practices
