Always wanted to try yoga but too scared you wouldn’t know a downward dog from a baby cobra? Then this weekend workshop is for you.
Saturday: Sun salute fundamentals – You will find a Sun Salute in almost every class. This workshop will break down the movements so that you always leave class feeling good. We will also cover Standing Poses and Twists.
Sunday: Back bending – over 70% of Australians live with back pain, yoga can be a great way to relive many issues that effect the spine. This workshop will focus on safe back bending techniques and core-strengthen. We will also work on inversions in this workshop, these poses are a great way to encourage good circulation and lighten your mood! We will end this session with deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra).
No experience required, mats are available for hire ($1 donation to Wayside). This workshop will also cover modifications for injuries.
