Yin Yoga is the perfect antidote to our busy, stressed out lives. It's a meditative, lush practice of long, slow holds and deep stretches, all supported over bolsters and blankets. Think: a big, warm hug from the inside! In Yin Yoga, we hold the poses (asana) for longer periods of time - on average about 5 minutes each. Our 'open flow' is a powerful and dynamic vinyasa flow incorporating a sequence of postures meant to build energy and stimulate the mind and body! Postures will be more fluid and focus on creating ‘tapas’ or heat from within the body as breath and movement flow seamlessly together. Variations on postures will be provided so that each yogi can explore their full expression. Beginners to Advanced Yogis welcome!
A slower paced yoga class, focusing on safe alignment and breath connection, teaching you the building blocks for a solid foundation to your practice. The room is heated 25ºC to 27ºC, and although still physically and mentally challenging, it’s the ideal class if you’re starting out, or looking to fine-tune your poses.
