We provide a thorough, practical, comprehensive, holistic, integrative and in-depth Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Course that honours the ancient practices and traditions of Yoga yet blends with a modern western focus.
About the Course
We provide a thorough, practical, comprehensive, holistic, integrative and in-depth YTT Course that honours the ancient practices and traditions of Yoga yet blends with a modern western focus. The YTT course integrates a practical approach to the following key areas:-
1. Practical Teaching Techniques
2. Teaching Methodology
3. Applied Gross Anatomy
4. Applied Systemic Physiology
5. Subtle Energy Anatomy
6. Yoga Philosophy
7. Yoga Therapeutics
8. Yoga Research Studies
9. Practicum - Practical Hands on Teaching Experience
We believe that a thorough understanding of the above approaches are imperative to the modern Yoga Teacher, deliberately designed for these ancient teachings and traditions to be delivered to the modern world without compromising its tradition.
This approach provides our Graduates with the opportunity of entering the world of Yoga Teaching harnessed with confidence and a wealth of knowledge in order to provide a high standard of teaching to prospective students.
We believe it is essential that every Teacher Trainee has the opportunity to have practical hands on teaching experience throughout the course prior to Graduation. This is offered in order for you to apply and integrate the theory and practice of your Yoga studies into the class environment with confidence whilst finding your own style as a Yoga Teacher. Therefore, as a YTT at Moksha you are eligible to apply for YTT Insurance and be mentored to teach 1.25 hour Yoga classes to members of the public under the supervision and guidance of a Senior Moksha Teacher as well as teaching weekly structured classes to your peers - a great way to prepare you for formal Teaching in the Yoga community.
UNLIMITED FREE Yoga Classes
As a Teacher Trainee at Moksha, you are provided with UNLIMITED FREE YOGA CLASSES at the Moksha Studio for the duration of your course as a way of supporting you to deepen your existing practice. You are also provided with discounts in attending the Moksha Intensives and Master Classes which continues into the membership of the Moksha Academy of Yoga Alumni.
In our experience, the Moksha studio becomes your hOMe away from hOMe whilst you undertake your studies, and we encourage you to make the most of this opportunity and attend as many classes as you are able throughout your course.
