Term classes focus on the continued development of your practice; working with the breath, correct alignment, building strength and flexibility, becomming aware of the inner workings of your mind, your own relaxation response and the effects of meditation.  The postures are staged and variations are given so that all poses are open to all students. Beginners are welcome.

Within a 10 week term, teachers work with a particular focus, teaching, practice or students' health issues and help students develop and progress.  The work of the studio is supported by other disciplines such as the Ayurveda stream run by Dr Shaun Matthews and meditation program run by Sal Flynn (Mindfulness Meditation) and Dr Matthews (Vedic, mantra and body awareness techniques). 

All teachers are long-term practitioners and meditators with a focus on using yoga and particularly a sitting practice to observe and calm the meanderings of the mind and to live a full, open and responsive life in a busy city.
