Sivananda Satsang (Group Meditation) & Community Yoga Class

For the Sivananda Yoga Tradition, community is a way of getting together and staying in contact with the teachings. People of different levels practise together, from newcomers to experienced yoga teachers.

Community Yoga Class (4-5.30pm)

Satsang - Group Meditation (6-7.30pm)

Literally means ‘association with the wise’. Meditating together in a group creates a strong spiritual atmosphere which allows a deeper experience of meditation. Satsang is the gateway to inner peace. It consists of 30 minutes of silent meditation, meditative chanting of mantras and an easy-to-follow lecture on yoga philosophy or psychology.

Open to all 6pm (offerings or donations are welcome). Please try to be there at least 5 minutes earlier.

You can join either the yoga class (limited space - must call to book), or the satsang or both.


For the community yoga class there is a $5 minimum donation. The Satsang is free; any offerings or donations are welcome.
