Level Two Intouch Yoga 300 Hours Teacher Training begins in March 2012. It will begin as a Part Time One Day a Week format training, with training days being Fridays, from 8am-4.30pm in Suffolk Park.
About this level two yoga teacher training
This Level Two Yoga Teacher Training is for you if;
.You seek a training that is run using the precepts of respect, fairness and integrity towards all invloved
.You and are seeking excellence and depth in your understanding of yoga, and wish to see yoga teachers respected as experts in their field.
.Following on from our Level One training, which has a strong focus on injury prevention , and yoga for special needs, the Level Two training delves deeper into the field of yoga therapy and Ayurveda.
.There is a pre-requisite that you have completed a 200 Hour Level One training that is deemed of sufficiently high a standard and with the required background information to enable you to integrate and understand the Intouch Yoga Level Two training. If you are not a graduate of the Intouch Yoga Level One training, you will be asked to purchase the Intouch Yoga Level One 200 Hour Teacher Training Manual and read it thoroughly, and you may also be asked to complete some written or verbal assessments before being accepted onto the course.
The Level Two Intouch Yoga 300 Hour Teacher Training will
be approved by Yoga Alliance. It will have a strong focus on Yoga
Therapy. The following is an outline of the course content;
.Over 100 Hours of practice including Level Two meditation, Pranayama, and Asana techniques.
.30 Hours of Yoga Philosophy and Lifestyle. We will
continue our study of the yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and also look more
deeply into Ayurveda as it applies to the process of health and disease
.15 Hours of Anatomy and Physiology, looking at the Nervous
System, endocrine System, Reproductive System and Immune System, plus
hours of anatomy based on the joints of the body included in the Yoga
Therapy classes
.30 Hours of practice teaching one on ones courses for
outside students, and learning to design personalised sequences over a
4-6 week period
.30 + Hours of Yoga therapy classes, looking at the anatomy and physiology, injury and dysfunction of;
All of the joints of the body
The spine
Scoliosis
Herniated
discs
Arthritis
Auto-immune disease
Cancer
Menstrual disorders
Anxiety/depression/addiction
And the yogic tools for management for these.
. Theory of and learning to teach Yoga Nidra
. Teaching theory and practice of Pranayama and Meditation
. Course planning
. Communication skills, self inquiry and yoga psychology
The training will take place in Suffolk Park or Byron Bay
depending on numbers. We will meet on Fridays, at 8am-4.30pm. There will
be 39 meeting dates between March 2012 and April 2013. These include 37
Fridays, a workshop day on the last Sunday in April on which we will
study anatomy and physiology with Russel Young (see Teachers page Level
One training pages.) Also two sessions of ritual, Kirtan and Hawan. The
dates of the Fridays allow breaks for most school holidays. All of the dates are listed on the website,

These texts are provided at an additional cost which will depend on their costs of purchase and postage nearer the time.
You will also be given extensive printed notes on
Philosophy, Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy, which you will need to file in
your own resource folder
Cost for the 300 Hour training is $4,200.00 for 2012.
Bookings can be made by emailing Flo with an expression of
interest. Deposit details will be given on completion of the approval
and registration process. Payment can be made in instalments throughout the course.
