Description

There are a number of keys to ‘remapping’ this part of the brain, and we use the muscles, ligaments, fascia, and bones as the means to do this. We will use unique methods to help you remap this part of the brain—the experience if liberation in the body that results from doing this has to be experienced to be believed.

In this Introduction, we will work on the hip flexors (the major influence of your spinal shape, and a frequent cause of back/ neck pain), piriformis (a muscle that can cause sciatica), the hamstrings, and a few simple neck and shoulder exercises.

Day 2

Mostly for lifestyle reasons (lots of sitting, driving, and computer work!), the majority of people are very tight in the neck and shoulders. As well, if your neck and shoulders are holding a lot of tension, you can be sure that the muscles of the face and jaw are also very tight. All this can be changed…

This all-practical workshop will take you through many innovative exercises and movement drills that will change the way you hold your shoulders on the rib cage, and will help to straighten your upper back. In the process, your head and neck will move into a more relaxed, lengthened, and comfortable position, over your centre of gravity, rather than in front of it.
