Let's talk about Pranayama.
I think it is a bit confusing when people think of the practice. In yoga classes, there might be a few minutes dedicated to breathing, but very rarely do we go in-deppth into what it is for. Traditionally, pranayama is not meant to be taught until the student has advanced to a certain point and is ready for the powerful effects it has on the nervous system. I think that basic pranayama practices can be learned at any level, with the practitioner moving slowly and not over exerting themself.

we are the manufacture of yoga kits, like yoga mat, yoga block, yoga ball, yoga band, yoga wear etc.

I have just stumbled across your blog site. As a yogs practioner of many years the basic practices of Prananyama can be of great benefit to all levels of Yoga. Simple breath awareness and alternate nostril breathing can really help focus your mind and calm the nervous system..it is a great practice to do before meditation to empty our busy minds and move away from constant thinking.Initial instruction should always be done with a qualified teacher...Devayogini AKA Kath

Thanks, I agree. Just find after all the asana and meditation, pranyama seems to always get forgotten, maybe when there is more time, and less little kids!
